Mytochondria, a website started by Myriam Lai, is a platform for you to get the latest news in cancer, regenerative medicine, and genetics research.
Myriam Lai is currently a student at Buckingham Browne and Nichols school in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has been interested in medicine since she took a week-long Cardiology course over her 6th grade summer. Since then, Myriam has continued exploring topics in the medical field, taking John Hopkins’ CTY Anatomy and Physiology course in her 8th grade summer, Georgetown Pre-college’s Neuroscience course and Brown Pre-college’s Biotechnology course in her 9th grade summer, and most recently Brown Pre-college’s Introduction to C. elegans using Reverse Genetics.
